Engaging All Learners To Achieve Success
Centennial Elementary is a growing school located in Columbus, Nebraska — a vibrant and welcoming community known for its strong work ethic, family values, and commitment to education. Serving approximately 350 students from kindergarten through 4th grade, Centennial is dedicated to the district’s mission to “engage all students to achieve success” through innovative programming, strong community partnerships, and a culture that encourages every student to discover something greater than themselves.

At Centennial Elementary, students are challenged to grow academically, athletically, artistically, and personally. We take pride in offering comprehensive educational opportunities that prepare students for middle school and life. From strong core academics and leadership development, students are encouraged to explore their passions and build confidence in their abilities.
Centennial is deeply rooted in the “Discoverer Way,” a culture built around values such as integrity, responsibility, commitment, honesty, discipline, enthusiasm, and loyalty. These values are woven throughout classrooms, activities, athletics, and community engagement efforts, creating an environment where students feel connected, supported, and inspired.
